Connolly & Fee has been appointed as Main Contractor for the restoration and extension of Transport House, one of the most iconic office buildings in Belfast.
The works to Transport House, which is owned by Unite, comprise reconfiguration and fit-out; together with a new upward extension and sympathetic repairs to the façade, which includes a distinctive modernist tiled mural facing onto High Street, showcasing some of Belfast’s major industries, including shipbuilding and aerospace.
The aspiration is that the works provide an opportunity to create a space within a historically significant building where a number of Unite’s nationwide ambitions can be achieved.
