High Rise is an exciting new indoor adventure centre in Lisburn (just 5 minutes from the A1 and M1 at Sprucefield) – a social enterprise owned by Employers for Childcare and constructed by Connolly & Fee – it is the to one of the first indoor clip & climb facilities in Northern Ireland.
Employers For Childcare said of High Rise:
“Employers for Childcare is a social enterprise – we donate our profits to supporting working parents. High Rise is our newest social enterprise business. We will use 100% of the profit made from the centre to support the work of our charity which helps parents get into work and to stay in work. So every time you and your family visit High Rise, as well as enjoying a fun day out, you know you’ll be making a difference to families who need it most.”
High Rise has been designed to be inclusive and accessible, including for individuals and families with additional needs. It is a modern state of the art facility with cutting edge technologies, a bright interior colour palette and a range of cutting edge sensory and play equipment. The centre includes:
- Clip ‘n Climb indoor climbing arena
- Soft play including small baby area
- Party rooms
- Sensory and quiet rooms
- Cafés on two floors with open plan dining and viewing platform (to first floor)
- Corporate rooms
- A Changing Places accessible toilet
