International Dyslexia Awareness Day Event

Richard Branson who has dyslexia said: “To change perceptions, we must celebrate all that dyslexic people have achieved, so that young people no longer give up before they have even started.”
October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. Statistically, 25% of children in NI experience some form of dyslexic difficulties. Given the enormity of dyslexia in NI, it is imperative that we champion awareness. As such Connolly & Fee is delighted to be sponsoring an event which will shine a vital light on the subject for families & caregivers in NI and endeavor to destigmatise dyslexia.
On Sunday 08 October an ‘International Dyslexia Awareness Day’ Event will take place in NI, in association with the EDA. The aim of the event is to Empower, Educate and Connect the parents/ caregivers of children who struggle to read, write and spell. Childrens’ Law Centre, Dyslexia Awareness NI, Nessy, Texthelp, Parentline, and Empower Project will all be in attendance.
